On Friday at 06h00 a report was filed concerning a vehicle hit in Flora Road, opposite Paradise Beach pallisades.  A duiker ewe was involved.  Her front leg was broken and dangling, her back leg badly damaged and blood came out of her mouth.  The accident was reported by the Conservancy to the Incident Rescue team of Craig Viljoen.  Sadly she was left on the road.

The rescue vehicle responded but even crippled she could not be caught without proper equipment and the rest of the rescuers were busy at another scene involving an overturned truck.  She managed to escape into thereeds at the fountains and due to bad weather could not be located.
